Probability of Torpedo Attack on Cheonan Warship: 0 %
Recently U.S.-resident Korean scholars asserted that probability of sinking of the Cheonan ship by torpedo attack is 0 %, attracting the attention of the public. Doctor of chemical engineering Kim Kwang Sop, expert in aluminium catalyst, corrosion and explosive and Doctor of electrical and computer engineering An Su Myong, expert in torpedo and other guided weaponry and anti-submarine warfare exposed that there is not an overwhelming evidence supporting the North's offence as alleged by the U.S. State Secretary with regard to the Cheonan ship incident and the investigation result of the civilian and military joint investigation team of south Korea presented only allegation without proof. Originally, Kim Kwang Sop had been scheduled to give a lecture in south Korea under the title "Cheonan" warship sinking incident -- calculation of temperature of foam for verifying the allegation of torpedo attack on the basis of adsorbent and the style of writing of "No.1". All of a sudden, however, the sponsor informed that the lecture was cancelled. Interviewed by the Hangyore newspaper in this connection, Kim said that the lecture seemed to have been cancelled because in the notice he had pointed out that the joint investigation team's analysis of the aluminium adsorbent is wrong and the place where torpedo No.1 was pulled up does not prove the allegation of torpedo attack. He added that he had sent his treatise to the south Korean defense ministry in advance to suggest revising the investigation result on torpedo No.1. As is known, on the night of March 26, 2010 the south Korean puppet warship "Cheonan" was broken in two for no particular reason and sank in the waters off Paekryong and Taechong islands in the West Sea of Korea. In the wake of it the puppets organized a civilian and military joint investigation team and drew in an international joint investigation team. 50 days after the incident, on May 20 the puppets made public a fictitious investigation result alleging that the warship was sunken by the North's torpedo attack. On the basis of it the Lee group issued "May 24 measure" to cut off all the cooperation, exchange and humanitarian undertakings between civilian organizations of the north and south, thereby leading the inter-Korean relations to an all-round collapse. Afterwards, the investigation result cooked up by the puppets on the basis of groundless materials was ridiculed and rejected by the south Korean public. Overseas Korean scholars, not to speak of south Korean experts, have been exposing the falsehood and unreasonableness of the investigation. This time U.S.-resident Korean scholars asserted that the probability of the sinking of Cheonan warship by torpedo attack is 0 %, disclosing once again the truth behind the Cheonan warship incident fabricated jointly by the U.S. and south Korean military. The assertion of the scholars is arousing sympathy from different circles of the south Korean public. Data exposing the truth behind the incident continue to come out. Ri Song Ho |
