Kim Yong Nam Welcomed in Vietnam
A function took place at the Vietnamese Presidential Office on August 6 to welcome Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, on an official goodwill visit to Vietnam.
Present there were Kim Yong Nam, Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Kang Min Chol, minister of Mining Industry, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Chang Il, DPRK ambassador to Vietnam, and other suite members.
Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, the director of the General Office of the Presidency, Minister of Industry and Commerce Vu Huy Hoang, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Ho Xuan Son, Vietnamese Ambassador to the DPRK Le Quang Ba and Assistant to the President Nguyen Duc Di and officials concerned were on hand.
The national anthems of the DPRK and Vietnam were played.
Kim Yong Nam together with the Vietnamese president reviewed a guard of honor of the Vietnamese People's Army.
