In June, ２０１３, the respected General Secretary
At that time, he also went round the nursery located in the factory compound.
He feasted his eyes on the cozy nursery and praised that it looked good.
One of the officials said to him that they planted a new kind of turf on the children’s playground and artificial turf in places where amusement facilities were installed.
Gazing at the trim lawn once again, the respected General Secretary said that they grew up the grass really well and that he could hardly distinguish real turf from artificial one. Then he recollected the day when he visited Kyongsang Kindergarten.
That day, he worried about the concrete paved yard of the kindergarten and taught that the yard must be covered with rubber sheets or turf lest the children should get hurt while playing in the yard.
Calling back upon that day, the respected General Secretary said that the factory planted lawn in the nursery yard as he taught for the first time and highly praised that the nursery implemented the Party policy before any others.
His appraisal was an earnest request of the benevolent father that the officials should always think about and make tireless efforts for providing the children, the future of the country, with excellent nursing conditions and environment.
The Most Important Task
In June, ２０１６, the respected General Secretary visited the remodeled Mangyongdae Children’s Camp.
Making rounds of the camp, he learnt in detail about the remodeling and preparations for operation.
Then he taught that it is for our children that we are carrying out revolution braving manifold hardship and trials and that we should provide them with happiness envied by the world so that the song “We Are the Happiest in the World” ring out loud forever.
He said with a bright smile on his face that the tour of the remodeled camp relieved him of all fatigue and gave him so much pleasure.
That day, he gave instructions concerning the management and operation of the camp for a long time and taught like this:
The Party organizations and officials should remain sensitive to the directions and policies of the Party. The Party organizations should define the order of priority in implementing many policy tasks, correctly understand the task the Party prioritizes the most, the most important task in defending the true nature of socialism and the advantages of socialist system, and focus their efforts on it.
Listening to his instructions, the officials realized once again that work for the children is the most important task, the greatest affair of our Party for giving full play to the true nature of socialism and demonstrating the advantages of socialism.
