Birth of First Revolutionary Armed Forces

April ２５, １９３２ is the founding day of the first revolutionary armed forces in our country.

President Kim Il Sung advanced the unique policy on achieving the country’s liberation by means of armed struggle and proclaimed to the whole world the founding of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army (KPRA), the first revolutionary armed forces with the Juche Idea as its guiding principle, on the tableland in Xiaoshahe, Antu County, on April ２５, １９３２.

The founding of the KPRA was a historic event that declared the indomitable will of the Korean revolutionaries to achieve the freedom and liberation of the people and the victory of the revolution by dint of their steadfast anti-imperialist revolutionary idea and Juche-oriented force.

The genuine historic mission of communist fighters of the Juche type was begun with the formation of the first armed ranks.

The President, who founded the first Juche-type revolutionary armed forces and achieved the historic cause of national liberation by force of arms, is, indeed, a peerlessly great man and benefactor of the nation.

The history of our armed forces, which started with the red flag of the revolution in the days of the anti-Japanese war, is shining more brilliantly as the history of victory and glory as it is led by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is identical to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
