High Appraisal of Masses’ Spiritual Strength

One autumn day, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, though he was busy with the state affairs, visited Kwail County after receiving a letter from the county people telling that they had an unprecedented bumper harvest of apples.

The respected General Secretary, praising a leading official of the county who greeted him respectfully on behalf of all the county people for the achievement in producing a lot of fruits despite severe natural disasters, said that the officials and working people of Kwail County, in the first year of carrying out decisions set forth at the ７th Party Congress, proved the validity of the Party’s policy by devoting their efforts and sincerity to it.

Then he inspected the Sindae Fruit Farm which had produced the highest yield among farms of the county.

When he saw boards displaying the successes of the farm, he said that he liked to piggyback the officials and working people of the county who had not spared themselves for reaping bumper harvest even under unfavorable climate conditions.

That day, the respected General Secretary, making rounds of apple orchards, repeated his praise that today’s bumper harvest was brought about by their indomitable fighting spirit, and that every single red apple reflected their loyalty.

Last year, when the county failed to carry out its fruit production plan, some officials informed that their failure was caused by the sea wind damage to fruit trees. But the officials of Kwail County, by arousing masses, brought about a large yield in fruit farming despite severe natural disasters this year. The experiences gained by Kwail County bespeak that the officials can beat the drum of victory even under any unfavorable conditions when they arouse the masses’ spirit and display the spirit of self-development relying on science and technology. ..

Indeed, his praise was high appraisal for the power of masses who performed an unprecedented miracle even under unfavorable climate conditions and for their indomitable spirit which gave birth to such great power.
