Revolution Is Unity, Unity Leads to Victory

８９ years have passed since President Kim Il Sung founded the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland, the first anti-Japanese national united front organization in our country, during the arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle.

Foundation of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland!

It was an historic event that enabled the broad anti-Japanese patriotic forces of all strata to be united as one under the idea of unity and powerfully arouse to the sacred war for the national liberation.

The line of united front demanding that all the people, who love the country and nation should be united as one, was one of the most important ideas maintained by the President from the early days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

Its noble crystallization and brilliant creation was none other than the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland, the all-nation anti-Japanese national united front organization.

In May, １９３６, the President convened the historic meeting for founding the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland in Donggang, Fusong County and declared to the world its foundation as a permanent organization of the anti-Japanese united national front and powerful underground revolutionary organization.

For our people, the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland was just the banner of unity and national liberation.

The brilliant victory of hard-fought struggle such as the construction of a new country after national liberation, the arduous Fatherland Liberation War and the post-war reconstruction on the ruins was also noble fruition brought by the strength of the great unity.

Chairman Kim Jong Il succeeded and developed on a new high level the traditions and exploits of the revolutionary unity the President provided in the flames of the anti-Japanese war.

Our people successfully concluded the Arduous March, the forced march, in which others might have collapsed a hundred times, and opened up a broad avenue for building a powerful socialist country. This was entirely attributable to the wise leadership of the Chairman which firmly consolidated the fortress of single-hearted unity.

Today, the single-hearted unity, the mainstay of our revolution, has been tremendously consolidated as the cornerstone for the existence of our Party and firm pillar supporting the building of a powerful socialist country as we uphold the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in high esteem.

It is true appearance of our motherland that the leader has unfolded a bright blueprint for the country’s prosperity, believing in the people, and the people have risen up as one in the struggle to implement the Party’s ideas and defend the Party’s policies, firmly rallying around the leader in ideology and purpose.

It is the unshakable will of the respected General Secretary that there is the invincible might of our style of socialism in the single-hearted unity and a sure guarantee for the eternal victory of our-style socialism lies in the single-hearted unity of the Party and people, which no other country can ever have or imitate.

The revolution is unity and unity just leads to victory!

No force can block our people’s vigorous steps and steady advance toward the bright future, bearing deep in mind the immutable truth and closely rallying around the great Party Central Committee.
