Our Ideal Socialist State

Today, in every part of the country, the proud entities which prove the fact that the capital is envious of the regions, the regional rejuvenation represents the progress and development of our state and the ideal appearance of the regions mirrors the true image of our style of socialism are being brought about successively.

All these successes are a boastful fruition brought by our Party’s unshakable will to hasten the rural rejuvenation so as to tackle the differences between the capital city and the provinces and the imbalance between regions and build an ideal socialist country which is further strengthened from its lower part to the upper part.

In Feb. when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the completed Pyongyang General Hospital, he clarified that the socialist country we are dreaming of is the one which is further strengthened from its lower part to the upper part.

His instruction represents a profound meaning that as a firm foundation is demanded for super-high-rise buildings, we should develop the local areas ahead of the capital in order to build a state which is prosperous through generations.

A county is a comprehensive unit of regional industry development and strengthening counties means that the politico-ideological and material and technical foundations of cities and counties are firmly cemented to ensure their independent, radical and successive development so as to make the regional rejuvenation represent the progress and development of our state.

Our Party long ago scientifically analyzed the position and role of a county in the construction of socialism and communism and, on this basis, has paid deep attention to strengthening the local areas; decided to eliminate the gap between the capital and the provinces, towns and countryside and now, pushes ahead with its execution persistently.

Our Party assumes medium- and long-range tasks of regional rejuvenation and ceaselessly opens up new realms and stages though it is hard to find any more reserves as the Party is engaged in the struggle to bring about an innovation in all aspects for increasing defence capabilities--it is aimed at building an ideal socialist state where all the people lead a civilized and happy life.

The world will witness soon our local areas and farms face-lifted into paradises and an ideal socialist state which is further strengthened from its lower part to the upper part.
