Validity and Vitality of Our Party’s Policy on Irrigation Construction

Now paddy-fields across the country are seething with rice-transplantation.

Ten-odd farms in the Kangryong and Ongjin areas of South Hwanghae Province push ahead with the rice-transplantation by use of freshwater of Lake Kangryong.

Now freshwater of Lake Kangryong wets thousands of hectares of fields in the Kangryong and Ongjin areas.

In the past the agricultural workers in the areas had suffered lack of water in farming.

The respected General Secretary took the revolutionary measure for water conversion of Lake Kangryong to use its water as irrigation water and energetically guided the project.

Under his wise guidance the irrigation system was established in the Kangryong and Ongjin areas and remarkable changes have been brought about in the farming.

This fact fully demonstrates validity and vitality of our Party’s policy on the irrigation construction and gives great conviction and vigor to the agricultural workers out for attaining the goal of grain production this year.
