Cement for Rural Housing Construction Transported through Route on Lake Suphung

The cement-carrying vessels, provided under the loving care of the Workers’ Party of Korea, conducted this year the first transport of cement for the construction of rural dwellings to Pyokdong County, North Phyongan Province, the DPRK.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took a revolutionary measure last year to organize a convoy of transport ships so as to rapidly carry cement for rural construction to the counties around Lake Suphung, and he indicated in detail the issues arising in the construction and operation of the ships.

The officials and workers at the Sinuiju Dockyard and the Suphung Marine Transport Company made devoted efforts to build cargo vessels and an excavation ship in a short span of time.

In December last year, the launching ceremony was held, and the cargo ships conveyed lots of cement to those areas.

Those vessels will continue carrying cement to the mountainous areas around Lake Suphung in the future, too.
