Hydro-power Generating Capacity Increases in Kangwon Province

Kangwon Province in the DPRK is making efforts to increase the production of electricity.

The province completed the construction of some army-people power stations including the Kosong and Phyonggang army-people power stations to increase the generating capacity by more than １.３ times and provided the foundation for the economic development and improvement of the people’s living of the province.

Now, the province is conducting the work to complete the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station while consolidating the successes achieved in strengthening the foundation for electricity production.
