Rice-transplantation Finishes in Numbers of Farms and Workteams across Country

Amid the growing enthusiasm of the officials and working people in the field of agriculture who are striving to attain without fail this year’s grain production goal set by the Party, over １ １００ farms finished rice-transplantation.

As of May ３１, over ５０ farms in Pyongyang Municipality completed the rice-transplantation in the main areas.

The farm fields in South Phyongan Province are seething with rice-transplantation.

The Tongrim Farm in Kaechon City, Sangha Farm in Songchon County and many other farms make successes in rice-transplantation.

Similar successes are witnessed in North Phyongan Province, South Hamgyong Province, South Hwanghae Province, North Hamgyong Province and other regions.

Thanks to the struggle of the officials and working people in the field of agriculture who make strenuous efforts to produce more grains this year, the last year of implementing the five-year plan, the successes are expanding in rice-transplantation.
