Peerlessly Great Men and Holiday June 6
June 6 is the holiday for all the members of the Korean Children’s Union preparing themselves as reliable reserves of the socialist construction and pillars of the country in the future.
June 6 is associated with the peerlessly great men’s noble outlook on the rising generation and future.
On June 6, 1961, President Kim Il Sung attended the joint national meeting of the Korean Children’s Union organizations on the occasion of the 15th founding anniversary of the KCU and spent all day long from morning to night sharing delight with schoolchildren.
In 1994, the closing year of his revolutionary career, the President sent a congratulatory message to the participants in the Fifth Congress of the KCU and had a picture taken with them.
Chairman Kim Jong Il who spared nothing for our children instructed to organize in a big way the celebrations of the 20th founding anniversary of the KCU and decorate the nocturnal sky of the KCU holiday with fireworks.
The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, who has carried forward the noble outlook of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on the rising generation, made a congratulatory speech at the event celebrating the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU on June 6, 2012 and enjoyed an art performance together with over 20,000 exemplary members from across the country.
In June 2013, Marshal Kim Jong Un had a souvenir picture taken with the participants in the Seventh Congress of the KCU and the next year he visited Mangyongdae Revolutionary School to congratulate its students enjoying the KCU founding anniversary.
Under the warm loving care of the fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un the KCU members soundly grow up to be heroes of the future fully realizing their desires and bringing their talents into bloom with nothing to envy.
