One July day in 2012, the respected General Secretary
That day, he, making the rounds of the kindergarten, let an accompanying official fetch the picture books he brought.
In fact, when he had visited the kindergarten 40-odd days before, he had inquired about the supply of new picture books helpful in intellectual education for the children, and taken steps to send many picture books.
The officials were impressed with his meticulous care to provide the children with intellectual education.
The respected General Secretary said that he brought various children’s books such as pictorial puzzle books, and some of them might be the same as the books he had already sent, but having many same books would be convenient for many children to read the books at the same time.
Then he stressed that reading the pictorial puzzle books and the like makes the children develop their ability to observe things and phenomena, and analyze and judge them.
He, before leaving the kindergarten, said that the reason why he revisited Kyongsang Kindergarten was because it was important to build and run well the kindergarten for developing the preschool children’s intelligence and their talents.
