Amid the fierce struggle for marking with labor exploits the １２th Plenary Meeting of the ８th Party Central Committee, the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex makes innovations in their production.

Recently, the production line of activated quicklime has been newly put together and its operation started.

Now, the activated quicklime are massproduced from the production line which uses limestone and coal abundant in our country.

As a result, the complex, saving the labors, electricity and fuel, increases the quality and production of iron and steel.

The introduction of this technology, one of the major state projects for the development of science and technology, is very significant for developing the metallurgical industry of the country.

The officials and working people of the complex, together with scientists and technicians of relevant sectors, established the new production line of our style, thus demonstrating the might of Juche-oriented Industry.

The production line had the final trial run on May １２, and the quicklime of good quality are being effectively used in steelmaking line of steel shop.
