Story about Stamp of Maker
The following happened in Oct. ２０１７ when the respected General Secretary
He, making the rounds of the factory to learn the state of production, halted at the line of the shoemaking workshop.
Seeing the line stamped with a machine-building factory’s name, he appreciated that the shoemaking line of the workshop was made by our own efforts, and said that he was gratified most on such occasions.
Actually, not only the officials of the factory but also visitors to the factory seldom gave attention to the stamp of the maker.
However, he appreciated the working people’s spirit of self-reliance through the stamp of the maker and put forward it as the precious wealth.
He, seeing an impact tester and football boots characteristic tester, highly praised that they manufactured many equipment and testers by their own efforts when they remodeled the factory, and again expressed his satisfaction, saying that he was very pleased at seeing the equipment and facilities made by our own efforts.
That day, the officials made up their minds to further display the spirit of self-reliance and create our own things as the General Secretary intends.
Looking at a Lathe
Numberless touching stories are recorded in the days of leadership of the respected General Secretary who implants in minds of our people the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and leads them step by step to perform miracles with their own efforts.
One July day in ２０１５, the respected General Secretary inspected the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex.
During his inspection, he halted in front of a machine at the Processing Workshop No.２.
An official of the factory informed to the General Secretary that it was a lathe which workers of the factory were renovating by themselves.
But the official felt so sorry because he could not show the modern machines to him like other enterprises.
However, the respected General Secretary, stroking the lathe personally, said that it was a good deed that the workshop was renovating the lathe by their own efforts.
It implied the intention of the respected General Secretary who valued more than anything else the mind of the working class of the complex who were making efforts to uphold the Party’s intention despite the difficult situation.
That day, the officials of the factory made a firm determination to kindle the fierce flames of self-reliance, keeping deep in minds his warm love and trust.
