Reason Why He Visited School First
One October day in ２０１４, the respected General Secretary
That day, after discussing with officials in front of the map showing its bird’s-eye view, he first visited Wisong Primary School.
Warmly shaking the hands of a school official who was choked with dreamy honour, the General Secretary looked round the school with a broad smile on his face all the time as if he pictured the future of the school where our pupils’ recitation of learning would resound.
After a while, he halted suddenly while going up the front steps slowly and instructed that the school could be said as a place in which the reserves of scientists grow up as it was a school for the scientists’ children of the State Academy of Sciences.
Hearing his instructions, the officials understood why the General Secretary visited the school before looking round the newly-built scientists dwelling houses.
That day, he gave an instruction that the scientific research work should be also conducted through generations just like the revolution.
Through this story, we can feel keenly the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who keeps the education above all else.
Measure Taken Again for Supply of Educational Equipment
One November day in ２０１６, the respected General Secretary stopped by the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace during his field guidance at the then Samjiyon County.
Looking round the palace, the General Secretary instructed officials to fully support the education including the work of the palace bearing deep in mind the Party’s noble outlook on posterity and learned about the supply of educational equipment and materials to the palace.
Carefully listening to the report about the issue, the General Secretary told the accompanying officials to supply the palace with better equipment and materials necessary for circle-activities of the palace.
The officials were moved by his instruction.
The measure he took for the supply of educational equipment and materials was not the first one.
When the General Secretary had visited the palace several years before, he had stressed the need to provide well the palace with equipment for experiment and practice and other educational materials.
The General Secretary had let the palace be remodeled wonderfully and taken measures for supplying educational equipment to the palace.
Indeed, his love for our children is incomparably great.
That day, looking up to the General Secretary, the officials deeply kept in their minds the great father’s noble intention to spare nothing for development of the education as it is the most important work.
Story about E-book Reading Rooms
The following happened in Dec. ２０１６ when the respected General Secretary visited a newly-renovated children’s camp in Kangwon Province.
Making the rounds of the camp, he expressed his satisfaction at the fact that another extracurricular education base had been renovated splendidly for the children.
An accompanying official informed him of the newly-arranged e-book reading room.
Then, he suggested in delight going there.
In the e-book reading room, he inquired how they ran the reading room.
Being informed of the fact that merely the camp building No.１ had the e-book reading room, he instructed that it would be good to arrange e-book reading rooms in every camp building and equip them with about ４０ computers.
What he considered was that the e-book reading room might lack in its seating capacity as to hundreds of campers in a camping term.
The officials felt guilty, because they had been content to arrange well the e-book reading room, but never cared about its seating capacity.
That day, he taught that if every camp building had an e-book reading room, it would be convenient for the campers to read e-books not only daytimes but also at nighttime, so it would make more efficient management of the reading rooms.
And he continued that reading e-books during the camping would be helpful for the campers to acquire more knowledge and improve the computer technology.
Afterwards, more e-book reading rooms were arranged splendidly in the camp, thanks to his meticulous loving care for the children.
