To Reduce Difference in Education Level

The work for decreasing the difference between the town and country in the education level is conducted consistently in the primary and secondary education sectors of the DPRK.

This year, the Ministry of Education has dispatched teachers of the central teacher training center and those in Pyongyang Municipality, who were engaged in the mobile education team in charge of the teaching of the students from flood-hit areas last year, to schools in rural areas, thus enabling them to set examples in putting the education level of the rural schools onto the level of the ones in urban areas.

Amid the growing enthusiasm for raising the education level of rural schools, thousands of sponsors of training institutes at all levels and able teachers of urban schools achieved successes in putting the qualification of several teachers of rural schools onto the level of the urban ones in the course of offering many rounds of guidance and creating and introducing advanced teaching methods to thousands of rural schools this year.
