Construction of Research-type University Promoted

Recently Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology and University of Science which set a goal of constructing a research-type university to carry out the tasks set forth at the ８th Party Congress, have made several courses into the top-ranking ones and produced lots of top-notch scholars.

These universities turned scientific structure system into research-type one, established lots of new courses of cross-disciplinary sciences and steadily innovated curriculums.

Meanwhile, they set up modern practical training bases and intellectual products manufacturing bases and laid a firm foundation to integrate the education, scientific research and production.

Hence, those universities perfected their features as befitted the research-type ones and brought about a qualitative progress in the educational level so as to make a contribution to the implementation of the Party’s new plan and policy.

Their successes inspire other universities to the construction of research-type ones.
