True to Regional Development Policy

Universities nationwide are endeavoring to implement the Party’s regional development ２０×１０ policy.

Universities of technology, of agriculture and vocational technology colleges in all provinces are promoting vigorously the work for further improving the contents of education of relevant subjects necessary for training talents who will charge the activation and operation of the factories. The work for enrolling employees of the regional-industry factories in the tele-education system, thus enabling them to acquire expertise was conducted in a full scale in universities of major fields.

Currently, a lot of employees of the regional-industry factories are studying in the tele-education system and employees of１８０ units have participated in a real-time technical training course so far.

Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry have produced ２０ videos of technical course for the employees of regional-industry factories and are briskly disseminating them.
