Roast Chestnut and Sweet Potato Stands in Capital City

Every year in the autumn we can see the conspicuous scenery of service of roast chestnut and sweet potato in the capital city of Pyongyang.

Long time ago, President Kim Il Sung instructed several times to sell roast chestnut and sweet potato to the people in various parts of Pyongyang.

In order to convey long the President’s love for the people, Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that every year a lot of sweet potatoes and chestnuts are sent to the capital city for serving the citizens in the autumn and winter.

Later the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un personally appreciated the new miniature of the roast chestnut and sweet potato stand and took benevolent measures to offer better service to the people.

Thanks to the warm love of the peerlessly great men, relevant departments in the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee undertake the work of serving roast chestnut and sweet potato in the streets of the capital city from October till the spring next year.
