The following happened when the respected General Secretary
A senior official of the province informed him, who did not take his eyes off the researchers engrossed in developing programs, of the developing state of the programs in the meantime.
Being briefed with keen interest on the programs being developed in the province, he deeply acquainted himself with the computers’ capacity and technical condition at the institute.
The relevant officials explained to the General Secretary about the computers’ capacity and various programs.
While carefully examining the computers one by one which were being used by the researchers, he taught in detail the officials their engineering data and gave detailed instructions on the advantages and shortcomings arising in developing the programs with the relevant information.
His clear explanation on the problems arising in the development of the program evoked admiration among the officials.
Looking at the officials wrapped in strong emotion, he said that efforts should be channeled into the development of the program, stressing the need to make efforts to make the e-business institute a prosperous one and a model one in the country.
Keeping deep in their mind his words, the officials made a firm pledge to take the lead in putting the whole country on an IT basis.
What He Earnestly Instructed That Day
The following happened in February, ２０１７.
The respected General Secretary who visited an exhibition which displayed the equipment newly developed by the scientists and technicians of the State Academy of Sciences inspected the generating equipment designed to use natural energy.
That day he, coming up to a wind generator, asked how the wings of wind generator were controlled.
Actually, the accompanying officials had never expected such an inquiry of his, because nobody had ever asked even about the mode of controlling wings.
Being explained about it, he asked again what materal the wings were made from.
He, getting reply with a satisfactory look at the generating equipment, said that when the people enjoyed the benefits of domestic wind generators and solar panels, they would be proud of things made by their own efforts.
His instructions represented the noble intention that the field of natural energy should also make proud successes in research of advanced science and technology so as to implant in the people’s mind the attachment to their own things.
Then, he went on saying that the two things what the officials in the field of science and technology as well as the scientists and technicians should be sensitive to were the Party’s policy and worldwide trend of science and technology development.
He added that they should strive to equip themselves with the Party’s policy and acquire the advanced science and technology. ..
Indeed, what he instructed that day was a precious guideline that the officials in the field of science and technology and scientists and technicians should regard as their motto.
