On Road of Opening Up Great Heyday of Construction
What He Gave Priority to During His Inspection
The following happened in June, 2014 when the respected General Secretary
That day he meticulously checked the quality of even a piece of furniture in a living room.
In a cozy master bedroom, he, seeing a bookcase on the table, pointed out that the bookcase should be made serviceable.
Then, he taught that it would be better to install the bookshelf than the bookcase for saving materials and convenience in use and also that would be better-looking, adding that the bookshelf should be made in several layers and partitioned to hold books.
Presently, he stressed the quality assurance among the relevant factories in charge of production of furniture for the houses of the Wisong Scientists Dwelling District.
The accompanying officials were impressed with the respected General Secretary who considered attentively lest the scientists and technicians feel any inconvenience in life.
Looking at them, he said that in every aspect of housing construction for the scientists, they should give primary attention to ensuring quality. He stressed that only perfectness should be allowed in construction of the dwelling districts.
Listening to his instructions, the officials kept deep in mind his intention that every structure for the sake of the people should be perfect in quality whether it is big or not.
Measure Taken Beforehand
The respected General Secretary inspected the Masikryong Ski Resort under construction in August, 2013.
Gazing at the ski runs stretching down from the tip-top of the Taehwa Peak, he asked one of the officials what the ski runs were like in the rainy season that year.
Being informed that the ski runs remained undamaged though it had rained a lot, the respected General Secretary said with admiration that the soldier-builders had paved the ski runs in a really qualitative way.
Looking up to him, the officials were touched by the heart.
In fact, the respected General Secretary had foreseen damage to the ski runs in the rainy season several months before and had taught the officials to plant grass in the ski runs.
Noting that it would be good to establish a proper drainage system and plant grass in the ski runs in order to protect them from rainwater, he had earnestly said that the grass would preserve the tracks and, better still, look good after the snow was thawed out.
Indeed, the wonderful ski runs were unthinkable apart from such detailed guidance of his.
The silver tracks of civilization still convey the sagacity of the leadership of the respected General Secretary who takes every single measure, foreseeing all the possibilities, in order to build our architectural structures into monumental edifices of ever-lasting value which will be flawless even in the distant future.
