One August day in ２０１８, the respected General Secretary
Looking up to the General Secretary who had come a long way to praise the factory for its successes, irrespective of sultry weather, the officials were wrapped in deep emotion.
The great trust and love of the respected General Secretary who had visited the factory several years before and given a precious teaching of normalizing the production by running well the factory were the source that enabled the factory to achieve such big successes although it had little data and experience of the pickled-fish production.
That day he taught every problem arising in the production, earnestly requesting that the factory should wage a vigorous struggle to improve taste of pickled-fish product and increase its varieties by setting a proper goal as it is a factory which blazes a trail in the pickled-fish processing industry of the country.
He also gave detailed instructions about all the issues including the issue of further raising employees’ level of sci-tech knowledge and conducting well the ideological work to encourage devoted struggle of the producers.
He highly appreciated the officials and employees of the factory, saying with satisfaction that they endeavored overcoming all kinds of hardships and difficulties by dint of revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and science and technology.
On that meaningful day, the officials and employees of the factory keenly felt that self-reliance is the unique strength of pioneering the thorny and untrodden path.
With Our Own Efforts and Technology
Several years ago, the respected General Secretary visited the bed branch factory under the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory.
After enjoying a bird’s eye view of the branch factory with a broad smile on his face, he went round the production processes first.
At a workshop, he expressed satisfaction with the fact that the branch factory increased the production. Then he reached the assembly shop and repeatedly praised the electromotive bed for its performance.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials felt a lump in the throat as that proud success could be achieved thanks to his noble ideal and energetic leadership to let our people lead a happy and healthy life.
That day he gave precious instructions on the important issues arising in the production of hospital beds, making rounds of the branch factory for a long time, and said with satisfaction that finally we became able to satisfy domestic demands for various shapes of hospital beds by producing them on our own.
Presently the General Secretary emphasized that we should protect socialist public health with our own strength and technology.
Keeping his precious teaching deep in their minds, the officials hardened their will to firmly defend precious lives and health of the people true to the Party’s noble idea by laying solid material and technical foundations of the socialist public health by dint of self-reliance.
