One November day in ２０２４ the respected General Secretary
Going round the areas under reconstruction which were transformed beyond recognition with great satisfaction, the respected General Secretary highly appreciated young builders for building up a modern rural residential district.
The officials were deeply moved by the praising words of the respected General Secretary.
The proud success was unthinkable apart from the great trust and love of the General Secretary who encouraged our youths with his agitated speech personally attending the ceremony of seeing off the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade and frequently inspected the dusty construction sites.
Then he warmly said that the height of buildings depends not merely on the engineering and mechanical calculation but on the high ideal and self-confidence, adding that the buildings built there were an outcome of the loyalty and patriotism of our young people.
Indeed, his words reflect the noble intention that nothing is impossible when one believes in his own strength and endeavours full of confidence and optimism.
Looking up to him, the officials keenly felt that the great trust of the respected General Secretary bestowed on our young people is the very source of strength that brought about the miracle.
Main Is Mental Strength of Masses
One June day in ２０１３ the respected General Secretary gave field guidance at the Pyongyang Condiments Factory.
When he was looking round the vitamin E production process, an official detailedly reported that the factory had arranged the production process on its own.
Looking at the equipment with a broad smile, he said happily that our scientists, technicians and workers are able to establish as many processes as they can with equipment they made on their own.
Then he dropped in at a workshop and praised packing process of soybean paste box of ５０ kilos made by the researchers of Kim Chaek University of Technology and the technicians and workers of the factory.
That day he said that the main is to give the fullest play to the mental strength of producer masses, adding that the modernization of production processes and establishment of cultured way of production and life were laudable but more valuable was that the officials aroused the mental strength of producer masses to renovate the factory on their own.
Keeping his words in their minds, the officials realized once again the iron truth that the motive force of creation lies in none other than the spirit of self-reliance.
