Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factories Face-lifted

North Phyongan Province has face-lifted dozens of Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories.

The provincial Party committee has directed primary efforts to making officials fully aware that the modernization of factories is an important undertaking for increasing the variety of Koryo medicines and improving their quality.

And they took a strong measure to review the progress of the project every week and encouraged the officials. In particular, they made sure that cities and counties made strong demands to push ahead with the project in conformity with the characteristics of production processes and technical requirements and, at the same time, organized economic work scrupulously so that the current production could be hastened simultaneously. Show and technical exchanges were held to generalize the successes and experience of Yomju and Thaechon counties on a wide scale.

Kusong City, with the goal for producing more quality Koryo medicines in conformity with the construction of the modern hospital thanks to the great benevolence of the Party, supplied the materials and equipment needed for updating the factory on a preferential basis and propelled the work for improving the development and brands of new products.

As a result, the remodeled factory completed the preparations for providing tens of kinds of efficacious Koryo medicines to the city hospital.

Chonma County also built the Koryo medicine factory perfectly and provided a solid foundation for mass-producing quality goods by equipping it with excellent facilities.

Sinuiju City, Unsan and Tongrim counties and other parts of the province, too, are putting spurs to sprucing up factories as required by their designs, improving the quality of Koryo medicines and diversifying them.
