Trustworthy Youth Volunteers Leave Traces of Patriotism in Major Theatres of Socialist Construction

The past five years since the historic Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea were the days of excitement when the revolutionary advance of youth got intensified as never before and the whole country became a theatre for our young people.

Young people who volunteered for the famous Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade, which has displayed feverish activities at the sites for most difficult construction projects since its formation and is distinguishing itself in the new era of regional transformation, have further trained themselves in the grand construction site in the area of Wihwa Island.

It is our Party’s intention to mould the young people into successors to the revolution and the future pillars of revolution by training them in the vibrant reality of gigantic struggle.

Keeping the ennobling intention, lots of young people are growing up as reliable masters after setting off for difficult and labor-consuming posts of socialist construction.

All of them devote their passion and wisdom, dearly keeping the certificate of petition with the emblem of our Party on it.

The young volunteers render distinguished services at major sites of socialist construction.

Among them are youth shock brigade members in the underground pit who overfulfilled their quotas for national economic plan far ahead of schedule, young innovators in the light industrial field who joined the ranks of fulfillers of production plans for several years.

There are also laudable young people who apply themselves to bringing up the future of the country at the remote schools in island and mountain villages.

Our Party always remembers such wonderful young people and puts them forward as the great pride of the country and young patriots.

When all the young volunteers make redoubled efforts and set new standards and records, assuming heavy tasks on themselves, keeping the great love and trust, greater miracles and innovations will be witnessed and our country will make greater strides forward.
