Sports Day

This year's first sports day was January 11.

It is our Party’s major policy to make sports mass-based and part of daily concern.

In our country sport is an undertaking for the sake of the people and of the people themselves.

The sports day serves as an important occasion in making sports mass-based and part of daily concern and contributing to the development of the country’s sports.

Officials should pay greater attention to operating the sports day with the correct viewpoint and attitude towards it, thus making the validity and vitality of our Party’s policy on sport fully displayed.

They should steadily improve the forms and methods of operating the sports day in conformity with the actual conditions.

They should further intensify the organizational work while putting an emphasis on making everyone participate in sports activities by forming teams and selecting sporting events to suit the ages and psychological features of the working people.

All the officials, fully aware that mass-based sporting activities are an important political work for achieving the unity of the collective and cultivating attachment to worksites, an undertaking for the sake of themselves and their units, should push forward with them in a methodological way, and thus further increase the masses’ revolutionary and patriotic zeal for struggle.
