He took for instance the Jangyon County Foodstuff Factory which was producing beer with the barley cultivated in the county and emphasized that the regional-industry factories should increase the varieties of products in such a way.
The officials of the county who were accompanying him as well as the masters of the factory fell deep in thought.

The following happened when the respected General Secretary inspected the regional-industry factories in Pukchang County in December last year and had a look at the soap products.
That day, after estimating the fragrance of soap of different colours, the respected General Secretary praised that the mint-scented soap smelled nice and they perfumed the soap appropriately.
Then he referred to producing soap with nice fragrance in a larger amount.
The officials were wrapped in excitement.
Whenever he visited the newly-built regional-industry factories, he personally tried every condiment and appreciated the colours and scents of the products.
He always taught that everything to be used by the people must be the highest in quality.
Tiny as the amount of perfume added to a bar of soap was, it was associated with the great fatherly care of the respected General Secretary who pays deep attention to even a single piece of consumer goods to be supplied to the local residents.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials made up their minds to try their best to turn out high-quality daily necessities, thereby ensuring everyone enjoys benefits from the new life provided by the benevolence of the Party.
