Our Party’s Fighting Goal and Principle of Its Activities
One December day in ２０２５, the respected General Secretary
That day he said to the accompanying officials that the foodstuff factories in cities and counties across the country should increase the variety of the goods by making the best use of their regional characteristics and economic potentials.
He added that if we make strenuous efforts to attain the far-reaching ideal and high goal, the implementation of regional development policy will be accelerated year by year and that it is our Party’s fighting goal and principle of its activities to put the material and cultural living standards of the regional people on a higher stage.
Listening to his instructions full of ardent love for people with great emotion, the officials were lost deep in thought.
The respected General Secretary unfolded a grand blueprint of regional transformation and leads its realization, saying that anyone who is born on this land should lead an abundant and civilized life under the socialist policy of the state, whether they live in the capital city or regions, in towns or mountain villages, and it is the core of the new policy of regional development to see to it that they do so without fail.
Thanks to his fervent desire and devotion to people, modern regional-industry factories have been built in ４０ cities and counties within only two years since the regional-industry revolution declared its solemn start and are put in full operation.
His meaningful instructions that day served as precious guidelines clearly teaching our officials once again what our Party’s fighting goal and principle of its activities are.
Attitude of Revolutionary
It was one day some years ago.
The respected General Secretary met with leading officials of the Party Central Committee and warmly said that he was going to push simultaneously ahead with the construction of sci-tech dissemination bases and hospitals when building regional-industry factories, underlining the urgent need to solve the issues of sci-tech dissemination and public health along with that of people’s living as early as possible.
The officials were surprised.
They were wrapped in emotion, thinking that the respected General Secretary cared only for the people, taking measures for maritime cities and counties to conduct offshore farming on a massive scale and unfolding a grand plan for building sci-tech dissemination bases and hospitals at the same time.
Looking round the officials, he said that by doing so, we can further spruce up the cities and counties and make our Party’s Regional Development Policy ２０×１０ a broader and more comprehensive one which is not confined only to light industry sector.
Then, he stressed that we should keep it as a key link in the whole chain of regional development to build sci-tech dissemination bases and hospitals in cities and counties.
It is really a tough decision to make in the present conditions to build all the city and county hospitals anew but we have no other choice, he added.
Presently, he taught the officials that it is the attitude of revolutionaries to make the hardest decision in the most difficult period and carry it out at any cost.
That day, the officials hardened their will to discharge their responsibility and role in the ongoing struggle for translating the people’s long-cherished desires into reality, keeping the noble intention of the respected General Secretary in mind.
