The Simwon Temple in Pakchon
The Simwon Temple, located at the foot of Mt Pongrin in Pakchon County, North Phyongan Province, is one of the oldest temples in our country.
The Pogwang Hall, the central building of the temple, has three folding doors on the front and two on the side.
Its columns are swelled ones.
The ceiling of the building was so gorgeously decorated.
The interior and exterior of the building were decorated in golden red and blue.
About 17 meters away from the Pogwang Hall is a lamp tower with a gabled roof.
