In April last year, an exhibition of goods produced at the regional-industry factories in cities and counties was held at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang, the DPRK, amid great interest of the people across the country.
Presented at the exhibition were goods produced at the regional-industry factories in different parts of the country and it evoked people’s positive response.
Great, indeed, was people’s impression on the fact that the regional-industry factories have been producing varieties of goods since the first period when they started the production as well as that their goods are as nice as those produced in the capital.
Then how could the exhibition reflecting the proud reality of regional transformation be arranged?
One January day in ２０２５, officials were summoned by the respected General Secretary
As it was the time when the gigantic struggle of the last year for implementing the decisions of the ８th Party Congress, officials thought that only some urgent problems arose as regards the affairs of the Party and state.
However they were surprised the moment when they received the instructions of the respected General Secretary of arranging an exhibition of goods produced at regional-industry factories newly built in cities and counties.
That day he taught in detail that on the occasion of April １５ an exhibition of goods of regional-industry factories should be held at the People’s Palace of Culture and senior Party and government officials and senior officials of the cities and counties should go round the venue of exhibition to evaluate the quality of goods exhibited.
In March when the preparations of the exhibition were in full swing, the respected General Secretary emphasized over again to organize the exhibition at the People’s Palace of Culture significantly and in April he personally inspected the interior design of the exhibition venue.
So, in April last, the exhibition of goods produced at the regional-industry factories in cities and counties was held at the People’s Palace of Culture on his own initiative and under his careful guidance.
Looking round the venue of exhibition, the people highly praised the goods, saying that they are as nice as those of the capital.
People’s voices of excitement reverberated through the venue of the exhibition clearly reflected the validity of the regional development policy set forth by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Indeed, the exhibition shows the ardent love for people shown by the respected General Secretary who is never contented with the work for the people.
