In December, ２０２５, the respected General Secretary
The senior officials and commanding officers of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) were really excited as they held the inauguration ceremony in the presence of the respected General Secretary.
The respected General Secretary opened up a new era of gigantic transformation for eliminating the centuries-old backwardness of the regions and realizing the cherished desire of the regional citizens, and indicated the concrete orientation, tasks and methodologies for successfully carrying it out.
Thanks to his wise leadership, one-tenth of the regions of the country came to have the solid foundation for independent development in ２０２４ and one-fifth of them in ２０２５.
He earnestly said that the development of the regions is the development of the state and the height of material and cultural standards of living of the regional people is just the height of the national power.
Listening to his words, the officials got lost deep in thought.
No other country in the world assesses the national power with the material and cultural standards of living of the regional people.
The height of the material and cultural standards of living of the regional people is the height of the national power!
This is, indeed, a standard for evaluating national power which could be born only under the Korean-style socialist system centered on the masses and set forth only by the respected General Secretary who cares for the people most.
Solemnly looking up to the benevolent father, the officials were convinced once again that the future of prosperity when all the people across the country will lead a happy life together will surely come thanks to the noble intention of the great father to make anyone who is born on this land lead an abundant and civilized life under the socialist policy of the state, whether they live in the capital city or regions, in towns or mountain villages.
Occurrence Unprecedented in History
One December day in ２０２５, the respected General Secretary gave precious instructions to officials.
He noted that the development potential of the regions has been strengthened year by year thanks to the powerful implementation of the rural revolution programme and the regional development policy in the new era. Then he broached the issue of essential foodstuff.
Referring to the fact that the technology of making wheat sauce and paste was perfected, he proudly said that a foundation for turning out light industrial goods including essential foodstuffs was laid as regional-industry factories were built in ４０ cities and counties.
He rejoiced over the fact that the inhabitants of Hamhung City were purchasing wheat sauce and paste produced by the regional-industry factory only.
Then he appreciated the Kimhwa County Foodstuff Factory for making hot pepper paste very tasty. He said that foodstuff factories in the capital were learning the ways for making foodstuffs from regional foodstuff factories and this is really spectacular occurrence unprecedented in the history of the DPRK.
It is the proud reality of our country that a great change is being made not only in the appearance of the country but also in the cultural life sphere of the people according to the plan of our Party to make the capital envious of the regions, to make regional development represent the progress and development of the state and to make the true image of our style of socialism mirrored on the ideal appearance of the regions in the new era.
That day officials hardened their determination to strive for achieving proud fruits of changes and prosperity unprecedented in the history upholding the leadership of the respected General Secretary who is creating a chronicle of revolutionary turn to be specially recorded in the history of the DPRK with practice.
