Ponghak Spring Water, Newly Registered Natural Monument

The Ponghak Spring Water gushes out of a natural cave at the west foot of Mt Sonjae which is about ８㎞ southeast to Ponghak-dong, Phyongsong City.

Its daily gushing amount is hundreds of cubic meters and the temperature is below １１℃ all the year round.

The Ponghak Spring Water is clear, refreshing and tastes good owing to the geological features of the strata.

It is efficacious against diseases in digestive and cardiovascular systems.
