Dancer-couple Bringing Their Talents into Full Bloom
Under the warm loving care of the motherly Party, disabled persons are also leading a happy life bringing their talents into full bloom in our country.
Among them are Ju Su Yang and Ryu Jin Hyok, dancers of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled (KAAD).
They are persons with hypacusia.
Although they became disabled when they were very young, they grew up happily under the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea on protecting the disabled and became the first art group members of the KAAD which was newly organized in 2012.
They, who became dancers as they dreamt of, brought their talents into full bloom under the active guidance and assistance of dancing teachers and fervent love of the officials and employees of the art association.
They performed dance works like "Ongheya" and "Snow white and seven dwarves" at the performances given at home and abroad, showcasing the happy life led by the disabled persons in our country.
They became husband and wife in those days.
The couple took an active part in artistic motivation activities at factories, enterprises and construction sites, eager to repay the Party’s love.
Their performance given in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities last year was enthusiastically acclaimed by the audience.
The dancer-couple still reflect their gratitude toward the motherly Party in their dance works.
