On Road of Devotion to Posterity

Room Temperature He Deeply Paid Attention to

One May day in 2012, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Kyongsang Nursery which had been wonderfully built into the children’s home of happiness.

After learning in detail about the construction of the nursery fully equipped with all conditions necessary for bringing up and educating children, he entered the nursery, guided by the officials.

Going round various parts of the nursery, the respected General Secretary went out to a balcony of a room and attentively looked round.

He was afraid lest a chilly wind would penetrate the room through the chink in the door to the balcony and the room temperature would fall in winter.

In the dining room he bent down to feel the floor in person.

Looking up to him who personally felt the floor for fear that the children would have their meal in a cold room in winter and earnestly requested them to ensure the children eat on the warm floor, the officials were deeply moved.

That day they hardened their determination to devote all their wisdom and passion to the joy and happiness of rising generations true to the noble intention of the General Secretary.

Taking Their Nap Time into Consideration

The respected General Secretary visited the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage on January 1, 2015.

He said to the officials that he visited the baby home and orphanage before anywhere else after making the New Year address to celebrate the New Year’s Day with the children there longing for parental love.

That day, he went round the baby home first and then headed for the orphanage.

When he entered a classroom, the children there were singing to the organ played by the teacher.

He wore a bright smile on his face, looking at the bright looks of the children, singing at the top of their voices of their gratitude toward the great father who had provided them with a wonderful palace and of their happiness of living with nothing to envy in the world.

All of a sudden, he asked the head of the orphanage whether the children should take a nap because it was about time for a nap.

The head answered that the children were too excited to go to sleep as the respected fatherly Marshal visited them.

The respected General Secretary then told attentively to her to let the children go to sleep and added that he really wanted to see them asleep in bed.

Only after seeing the children trying to sleep with their eyes shut under the soft quilt, the respected General Secretary smiled a smile of relief.

Looking up to his benevolent image, the officials felt a lump in the throat.

They could visualize the bright and cheerful looks of the rising generation who would grow up sound and strong to be future pillars, singing the song "We Are the Happiest in the World", under the warm care of the motherly Party.
