One day in October, ２０２４, the respected General Secretary
After inspecting the dwelling houses, he headed for a small park.
He sat on a stone bench of the park and looked at the roof of the house in front of him for a while. Then he said that the flat roof wasn’t designed well.
The building looks like a soldier without his cap as the height from the window of the top floor room to the roof is about the same as the one from the ground to the window in the first floor, he noted and went on:
Flat-roof of multi-storey dwelling houses should be laid to make a good appearance. When even one element among line, color and proportion of a building doesn’t fit in with others, the whole building looks unsubstantial.
It was such precious guidelines our officials should adhere to in construction.
That day the officials made a firm determination to build every building to be impeccable even in the distant future.
Lest There Should Be Any Defect
One day in April, ２０２２, the respected General Secretary visited the newly built Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District and learnt if the living rooms were arranged for the convenient use of house owners.
Then he pointed out in detail the shortcomings revealed in the design of the living rooms.
When he entered a living room of Apartment Block No. ６, he taught that the entrance to the dining room was too wide and that they should have made the entrance a little narrower by stretching the partition wall between the living room and the dining room further out.
The designing officials reproached upon themselves who failed to make designs with a correct understanding of formation of architectural space.
As if he had read the minds of the officials who were thinking of how to narrow the entrance, the respected General Secretary taught them rational ways to rectify the shortcoming.
Listening to his instructions, the officials were touched by the attentive solicitude of him who cared so much lest the wonderful new dwellings to be used by the people should have any defect.
Looking up to his benevolent image, the officials keenly felt that ours are the most blessed people in the world as they live under such warm care of the great benevolent father.
