New Life and New Civilization Brought About by Party Policy

Production Indices on Increase

Whomever I meet asks me what new products have been developed again.

This question has become more frequent nowadays ahead of the national foodstuff exhibition.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who visited our factory nearing completion early in December last year, expressed pity about the fact that our factory, like other city and county foodstuff factories, was producing soy sauce, bean paste, confectioneries and liquor as fixed indices and earnestly taught to define different production indices in keeping with the characters of the region and economic potentiality.

That day, I looked back upon my working attitude of failing to endeavor to increase the varieties of specialities representative of our region as much as possible.

Upholding the instructions of the respected General Secretary, the officials and employees of the factory racked their brains to increase the varieties of goods.

Consequently, Omija(schisandra chinensis) candies, acorn jam, corn jellies, pine-nut cookies, yellow snake liquor, barrenwort liquor and other goods were newly developed.

The more the production indices of the factory increase, the more the residents grow in their interest in them.

The residents in the county hope that products which can represent Sinyang County will further increase.

They encourage us to develop new goods in a larger number for the national foodstuff exhibition and get better appreciation there than any other regions.

I will try my best to do more things beneficial to the people and let the validity and vitality of our Party’s regional development policy be displayed higher in the people’s lives.

Second Order Book

These days all the employees of the Jangphung County Garment Factory are busy with their work as lots of people are constantly visiting our factory to order new clothes suited to the spring season.

We have already filled the last page of the order book we used since the factory was inaugurated in February last year, so we made the second order book.

However, we feel great affection for the first order book as we have been using the book all the year round.

Turning the pages of the voluminous book, the looks of inhabitants who were visiting our factory float vividly before our eyes.

Among them were farmers who made a determination to repay the benevolence of our Marshal by reaping a bumper harvest, saying that the clothes branded "Okgusul" suited their taste after trying them on, and workers of the county construction brigade who expressed their will to devote sincere sweat to construction sites for turning our county into a beautiful and civilized one, wearing the clothes produced at our factory.

Written on the book are also the names of inhabitants who became familiar with us as they ordered clothes several times.

The new civilization of our Jangphung County people is unthinkable apart from the love of the motherly Party, which saw to it that a wonderful garment factory fully furnished with modern equipment was built in order to put forward the regional people.

Turning the first page of the second order book, I said to myself that the living standard of the people in Jangphung County will increase day after day like the order books of our factory which are increasing in number.
