Wheat Production Capacity Steadily Augmented
Now that wheat output is on the increase amid the brisk campaign for changing the country’s grain production structure under the guidance of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and working people in the sector of grain management have pressed ahead with the construction of new wheat processing bases and remodeling of existing ones to make certain achievements.
Large-capacity wheat processing factories were newly built in Kangryong and Singye counties, the regions favorable for wheat production, and wheat processing bases in South Hwanghae Province, Nampho Municipality and North Hwanghae and South Hamgyong provinces were remodeled.
Furthermore, wheat processing lines were newly reinforced at grain management stations in several cities and counties including Sariwon City.
The officials and working people in the grain management sector propel the work for steadily expanding wheat processing capacities in consideration of wheat output which increases year after year.
In particular, they push ahead on a full scale with the work for newly building and remodeling wheat processing bases including the conclusion of capacity expansion project at the Wonsan Wheat Processing Factory this year.
Flour produced at the wheat processing bases at present is successively supplied to foodstuff factories across the country including the new regional-industry factories.
In the meantime, varieties of wheat processed goods are on the steady increase.
Officials and employees of different county foodstuff factories, mindful of their responsibilities for improving the people’s life, briskly conducted the mass-based technical innovation movement with the focus placed on increasing the varieties and raising the quality, thus making actual progress in developing new products capable of satisfying the people’s demands for wheat processed goods.
