Pyongyang International Tourist Souvenirs and Health Goods Exhibition Opens

A Pyongyang international tourist souvenirs and health goods exhibition opened.

Presented to the exhibition are various kinds of craftworks, decorations and other tourist souvenirs, health goods and data on sci-tech achievements produced by the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ministry of Public Health and other units in the DPRK and enterprises of Russia and China.

Its opening ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on April １０.

Present there were Jong Song Il, director general of the National Tourism Administration, officials concerned and officials and working people of the exhibitor units and the members of Russian and Chinese exhibition delegations.

At the ceremony, a speaker declared the opening of the exhibition, expressing belief that it would be a significant occasion in further developing the tourist industry, widely disseminating and exchanging the successes and experience gained in the development of tourist souvenirs and health goods and expanding and strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations among countries.

At the end of the ceremony, its participants went round the exhibition hall.
