After a while, the respected General Secretary stressed that the people in other regions should revitalize the construction in conformity with the natural and topographical features of their regions with Samjiyon County as their model and that a revolution will be made in the regional construction of our country only when they live with their unique characterictics.

Issue of Putting Production on Normal Basis He Stressed
In December ２０２４, the respected General Secretary attended the inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories built in Songchon County.
That day he made a significant speech reflecting his fervent love for the people.
After the speech, he cut the inauguration tape and went round the regional-industry factories together with officials.
At the foodstuff factory, he gave detailed instructions on the production, saying that the goods produced at the regional-industry factories should not be window-shopping ones for the residents.
Noting that what is important in operating regional-industry factories is to direct primary efforts to normalizing the production and improving the quality of products, he said the construction of regional-industry factories in cities and counties aims at not only sprucing up the appearance of the regions by building showy buildings but substantially improving the material and cultural life of regional people. To this end, the officials should pay deep attention to putting the production of regional-industry factories on a normal footing, he said earnestly.
Receiving his instructions, the officials were deeply moved as they keenly felt the devotion made by the great father to making our people enjoy affluent material and cultural life to their heart’s content as soon as possible.
