Prolonged Light Industrial Goods Exhibition
In October ２０２５, the light industrial goods exhibition "Development of Light Industry-２０２５" was held with splendor in the capital city of Pyongyang. It was prolonged for a few more days.
This is associated with the warm care of the respected Comrade General Secretary
One day during the exhibition, the respected Comrade General Secretary met senior officials of the Party Central Committee and said that tens of thousands of people from regions were coming to Pyongyang to watch the Grand Mass Gymnastics and Artistic Performance "Long Live the Workers’ Party of Korea" every day and that it would be good to let them visit the exhibition venue, too, after watching the performance.
He then continued they would get the confidence that they will live as affluently as others in a near future.
Looking up to him, the officials fell deep in thought.
There would be nobody like the respected General Secretary, who reads even the people’s simple wish to have a look at the exhibition, they thought.
Like this, the light industrial goods exhibition was prolonged for a few more days.
This single story is enough for us to realize how warm the respected Comrade General Secretary’s love for the people is.
Sample Bag He Saw in Delight
The following happened in January several years ago when the respected Comrade General Secretary dropped in at the sample goods room of the newly-built Pyongyang Bag Factory.
He was looking at the sample bags in the room one by one when he picked up a sample for kindergarteners with a bunny toy to learn about its quality.
He saw another bunny-toy bag and kindly asked one of the accompanying officials if the bags were of the factory’s making.
After listening to the official who answered him in the affirmative, the respected Comrade General Secretary saw the samples for schoolgirls in the junior middle school and schoolboys in the primary school and noted satisfactorily that the children would feel no pain in their shoulders if the shoulder straps were stuffed with sponge like that.
Presently, he taught to properly define the bag size in accordance with the children’s ages and physical features lest the children should feel inconvenient while carrying them or sitting on chairs.
He continued that the sitting height may differ at different ages and the bag size could be defined accordingly.
Looking up to the respected Comrade General Secretary, who was feasting his eyes on the sample bags with a broad smile on his face, the officials strongly felt that ours are the happiest children in the world as they are growing up in the embrace of the respected Comrade General Secretary.
