Earnest Request to Officials
One day in January, ２０１７, the respected Comrade General Secretary
He noted that the greatest of all aphorisms is the instruction of the President for the graduates to become competent officials of the Party and the state who are always working among the people, standing in the van of the people for the independence and sovereignty of the country and the freedom and happiness of the people.
The officials were wrapped in emotion.
The autograph the President wrote to the graduates from the Party school who would become the pillars of the new country was not a lengthy programme.
However, it incorporates everything including the personality and qualities to be possessed of by our officials.
Presently, the respected Comrade General Secretary told the officials that how the officials should work for the people is concentrated in this instruction.
He continued that the officials should try to do as many things good for the people as possible, cherishing the spirit of devotedly serving the people, and earnestly requested that they should launch and conduct work by first calculating if the people could benefit from it.
Looking up to the respected Comrade General Secretary, the officials hardened their mind to do their part as servants of the people as he desires.
With Lofty Ideal
One day in July, ２０２４, the respected Comrade General Secretary guided the construction of Samjiyon City on the spot to turn it into a characteristic combined four-season mountainous tourist resort.
That day, the respected Comrade General Secretary visited the Samjiyon Revolutionary Museum after touring the area around Mt Paektu and Mt Pukphothae.
At the museum, he had a bird’s-eye view of the streets of Samjiyon City and told with pleasure it is a pride of our country to have such a wonderfully-built beautiful city in the mountainous area.
His words touched the officials by the heart.
It was thanks to the tireless efforts and pains of the respected Comrade General Secretary that the city was turned into a marvelous mountainous cultural city and an ideal socialist village.
However, the respected Comrade General Secretary continued his field guidance to turn the Samjiyon area into a more beautiful tourist area.
Looking around the officials, he earnestly told that the citizens of Samjiyon would become the masters of a world-class tourist city and enjoy the highest civilization in a near future.
He then warmly noted that he was really looking forward to it and that it is our Party’s ideal to let regions develop as much as the capital city and regional people be the enjoyers of world civilization before anyone else.
The officials pictured to themselves the new transformation to be witnessed in regions first and the happy looks of regional people to be the enjoyers of new life and new civilization under such lofty ideal of his.
