The respected Comrade General Secretary arrived at the polling booth arranged at the complex, voted for candidates for deputy to the provincial, city and county people’s assemblies and warmly encouraged them. Then he learned in detail about the production of large compressors and compressors for the field of coal mine.
Calling for ensuring the quality of products, the respected Comrade General Secretary emphasized that to produce large compressors on our own is not a simple economic and technical matter but a serious political struggle of whether to put an end to flunkyism, defeatism, mysticism about technology and proclivity to imports and intensify the Juche character of our economy or not.
He highly appreciated the workers of the complex who were pushing ahead with the production of large compressors assigned by the Party at the final stage.
Officials were wrapped in great emotion.
The respected Comrade General Secretary had entrusted the production of custom-built equipment which is of great significance in the national economic development to the working class of Ryongsong and encouraged them while personally dispatching powerful sci-tech forces so that they wouldn’t flinch from difficulties.

The instruction he gave that day further convinced the officials that self-reliance is, indeed, the only solution and universal way for steadily advancing the revolution whatever the situation.
Trial Products of New Passenger Buses He Personally Watched
One day in March ２０２１, the respected Comrade General Secretary watched the trial products of the passenger buses at the building of the Party Central Committee.
Officials who came to watch the trial products of the passenger buses in the presence of the respected Comrade General Secretary were replete with great excitement.
The respected Comrade General Secretary tender-heartedly said to the officials who courteously greeted him that he came to learn about the trial products of the passenger buses after being informed that Pyongyang Municipality had made them by itself to solve the passenger transport.
He boarded the buses and learned about the details of technical features one by one. He said that it is something admirable that Pyongyang Municipality set out to make buses in reliance on its own technical force and production foundation to settle the problem of the public transportation means.
Listening to the story of the working class’s struggle, he gave detailed instructions on the production of buses. Then he stressed that to produce buses on our own is not an issue that can be omitted at one’s own discretion but a mustdo.
Presently the respected Comrade General Secretary got off the bus and highly praised, saying that it was of really excellent workmanship.
Looking up to the respected Comrade General Secretary who was so pleased to see creations of self-reliance associated with patriotic efforts of our working class, the officials pictured the beautiful scene of Pyongyang in which attractive passenger buses of our own making are in service.
