Cradle Protecting Health and Happiness of Children
Our people think that the Okryu Children’s Hospital is the house of love which protects health and laughter of children.

He also asked the medical workers of the hospital to display sense of responsibility so that all our children could equally enjoy benevolence from the Party and personally solved the problems arising in the operation of the hospital including supply of medical facilities and medicines.
Before opening the hospital, he instructed to decorate walls of corridors and sick-wards with fairy-tale pictures to suit children’s minds so that the interior of the hospital could be built into world of fairy tale.
Now the medical workers of the hospital pool their wisdom and enthusiasm to provide the children with advanced medical service true to the Party’s intention.
The hospital is equipped with excellent conditions of treatment, environment and nursing and educational conditions to let children enjoy benefits from the state. Thanks to the state measures, the number of in-patients brought together every day and dairy products are regularly supplied to them.
Under the care of the benevolent motherly Party, which pays special attention to children’s education and growth, the in-patients ceaselessly brightly learn and sing songs in the playing space, education room, classrooms for primary and middle schools.
The state regularly supplies textbooks and reference books to the hospital for the children studying there.
The Okryu Children’s Hospital is the best cradle of love for our children representing their happiness, rather than a treatment and prevention institution.
That is why, foreign visitors to the hospital say that such hospital which has been suited to the children’s minds can be seen only in the DPRK and that they envy the mothers of our country holding the great leader in high esteem.
They unanimously express admiration at the fact that the hospital seeming like a dreaming world in the fairy tale serves for the children of ordinary people.
Indeed, happy laughter of our children will reverberate ceaselessly as they are protected by the warm care of the benevolent Party.
