Peculiar Sight of Large Farm Town--Sea of Rape Flowers

The face-lifted Wihwa Island in the northwestern part of the country has been covered with rape flowers in full bloom.

The masters of the treasured island are filled with joy.

We recollect with deep emotion the first day of February this year and the meaningful words the respected Comrade General Secretary gave that day. The respected Comrade General Secretary said that one thing he felt regretful looking round the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm was that he couldn’t see green grass and yellow rape flowers, the Wihwa Island would present a really spectacular sight in spring when rape flowers are brought into full bloom and that spring seemed to arrive there first.

Not long ago, the respected Comrade General Secretary again visited the Wihwa Island covered with rape flowers in full bloom and said that the beautiful appearance of the island area with a sea of rape flowers is a proud epitome of socialist Korea showing the true meaning of dramatic transformation in the new era.

Looking at the sea of flowers, a peculiar sight of a large, picturesque farm town associated with ardent love and affection of the great father, we are more convinced that our country will witness only miracles thanks to his noble outlook on people that anyone who is born on this land should lead an abundant and civilized life under the socialist policy of the state, whether they live in the capital city or regions, in towns or mountain villages.
