National Exhibition of Children’s Science Fiction Models and Inventions-2026 Closes in DPRK
The National Exhibition of Children’s Science Fiction Models and Inventions-2026, which opened on the occasion of the 80th birthday of the Korean Children’s Union, closed with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex here on June 7.
Demonstrated at the exhibition were the creative wisdom and practical ability of the Korean schoolchildren who learn to their heart’s content and bring their hopes and talents into full bloom under the care of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
An intelligent laser combined tunneling machine and an unmanned grain dryer based on the principle of solar water heater, invented and manufactured by schoolchildren, drew the attention of visitors.
Those of North Hwanghae Province, Pyongyang Municipality, South Hamgyong and North Phyongan provinces won a high appreciation at the exhibition.
The jury results were announced and rotating trophy cups, diplomas and medals awarded to the highly appreciated organizations and schoolchildren at the ceremony.
Paek Un Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league, made a closing address.
