In August ２０２４, a consultative meeting for regional development project held under the guidance of the respected Comrade General Secretary took a special measure for additionally building sci-tech dissemination bases with the advanced public health facilities and grain management stations in order to carry out the work for injecting modern civilization and introducing modern technology even into the remote mountainous areas with cities and counties in the country as the base at a really early date.
Until then, everyone had thought of the sci-tech dissemination base simply as a service facility for disseminating science and technology to regional people.
One day in September ２０２４, the respected Comrade General Secretary met with senior officials and taught that the sci-tech dissemination base should be expanded to a comprehensive base for cultural life and that the base for cultural life to be built in cities and counties should be built into a multifunctional cultural complex where residents can get access to science and technology as well as watch films and enjoy various cultural life like sports.
The relevant sector launched designing for building a comprehensive base for cultural life as instructed by the respected Comrade General Secretary.
However, the designing officials failed to have definite orientation for designing for the lack of experience in designing of such kind.
Then in November ２０２４, the respected Comrade General Secretary, while looking round the regional-industry factories in Jaeryong County under construction, taught that the cultural complex is a multifunctional cultural life facility comprised of a library and welfare service amenities where residents can have a bath or haircut.
A few days after that, when he was inspecting the construction of regional-industry factories in Songchon County, the respected Comrade General Secretary again gave detailed instructions on how to arrange facilities like a library, bathhouse, barber’s, hairdresser’s, laundry, general store, and others in the cultural complex.
He also paid deep attention to the name of the multifunctional cultural complex to be built in cities and counties.
Thanks to such ardent sincerity and devotion, leisure complexes where people can not only have access to sci-tech data but also watch films, read books and e-data, do sports activities and shopping and the like were built in different regions in less than a year.
The respected Comrade General Secretary who attended the inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories and a leisure complex in Jongphyong County on December ２４ last year unveiled the monument to inauguration, wishing the residents in the county happiness.
It is our Party’s intention to ensure that the regional people not only enjoy a material life that is enjoyed by the citizens of the capital city but also lead a life in good health and without any worry in an environment that is as cultured and hygienic as in the capital city.
Thanks to the Party’s love and care for regional people, the residents in Kangdong, Jongphyong counties and Kaephung District are enjoying the culture and civilization of the capital city to the heart’s content in their home villages.
Witnessing the vibrant reality in which the construction of hospitals and leisure complexes is being pushed forward with along with the construction of regional-industry factories in twenty cities and counties, everyone is full of confidence in the new civilization and happiness they are to enjoy.
