In January two years ago, the respected Comrade General Secretary
The officials of the farm were full of excitement at having him at their worksite.
After looking at the sample products of the farm on display one by one, the respected Comrade General Secretary held up a packed chicken product sample and asked how much a chicken weighed.
Listening to the reply of the manager of the farm, he kindly taught how to make chicken taste better.
Endless indeed was the sincerity of the benevolent father for providing our people with tasty chicken.
That day, he gave precious instructions as to operating and managing the farm while learning about the modernity, production capacity and actual conditions of the farm. He told officials that the compound of the farm looked like a rest home and he wished such wonderful creation for the people as the farm would appear every month.
Looking up to the respected Comrade General Secretary, the officials felt that the happiness of our people grows under the ardent love of the benevolent father who does not feel content in doing things for the people.
On the Day When He Visited New Farm City
The following happened one March day in ２０２４.
That day, the respected Comrade General Secretary, who attended the completion and inauguration ceremony of the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, looked round several greenhouses and headed toward the residential quarters.
After looking round the living room and kitchen of a house, he expressed great satisfaction.
Shortly afterwards, he went outside and enjoyed the bird’s-eye view of the fairyland-like greenhouse complex and said in delight that the greenhouse complex could be likened to a greenhouse city, a farm city.
The officials felt a lump in the throat, for the brilliant reality was unthinkable apart from the devotion and pains of the respected Comrade General Secretary who clarified the ways and methods for completing the project in the shortest period and led the struggle for implementing them step by step.
However, he praised that the terraced dwellings had been built well so that they formed good harmony with the natural landscape.
He taught that the architectural structures in the countryside should be cozy and neat as befitting rural ones.
Even at a time when everyone was marveling at the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, the respected Comrade General Secretary was thinking about how to turn all the farms in the country into civilized and rich ideal villages with their own peculiarities.
Thanks to such noble will of his, our countryside is getting more and more beautiful with each passing day.
