Mangyongdae Children’s Camp Full of Children’s Happy Laughter

Happy laughter of children growing up to be future pillars of the country in the bosom of the motherly Party are heard everywhere on this land.

The bright and cheerful looks of our blessed children who are pride and joy of the country can be witnessed at the Mangyongdae Children’s Camp on the foot of picturesque Mt Ryongak.

The Mangyongdae Children’s Camp is associated with warm loving care of the peerlessly great men who valued posterity most.

The camp is a significant place which President Kim Il Sung erected and whose founding day and name Chairman Kim Jong Il personally defined.

The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un gave precious instructions on building the camp on the highest level to suit the requirements of the new era, personally guided the remodeling design and solved every problem arising in the construction.

In June ２０１６, the respected Comrade General Secretary who visited the remodeled Mangyongdae Children’s Camp asked an official what kinds of knowledge dissemination rooms there were in the camp.

After listening to the official’s reply, the respected General Secretary said that every camp had the rooms for disseminating marine and mountaineering knowledge and stressed the need to turn them into the comprehensive knowledge dissemination room to teach not only marine and mountaineering knowledge but also comprehensive knowledge.

Suggesting that a room for disseminating computer knowledge be arranged at the comprehensive knowledge dissemination room in keeping with the computer age, the respected Comrade General Secretary taught in detail about its operation method.

So, the comprehensive knowledge dissemination room was newly arranged in the camp.

That day the respected Comrade General Secretary dropped in at a bedroom of campers’ dwellings and sat on the lower bed unreservedly.

While examining the comfort and firmness of the bed shaking the bed frame, he pointed out that the shortcoming was that no clothes hanger was installed to hang overclothes, raincoat and others and carefully looked around.

Saying that clothes hanger should be arranged at the anteroom, he even chose the site of it in person.

That was not all.

At the restaurant, he instructed to build a walkway so that campers may not feel even a slight inconvenience when raining.

He also promised to send rare animals to the animal shed after learning about the fact that there were only a few species of animals at the outdoor animal shed.

Asking about the quality of water in the outdoor swimming pool and judging himself the height of the diving tower, he taught to make sure that a waterslide is built to keep good harmony with the environment.

Indeed, the Mangyongdae Children’s Camp is the happy cradle, palace of love conveying the noble outlook on posterity of the peerlessly great men.

Thanks to the boundless parental love of the peerlessly great men, happy laughter of our children will resound forever.
