The finals of the "Sports Contest of Workers of Metallurgical Industrial Sector -２０２３" took place at Kim Il Sung Stadium in the capital city of Pyongyang on May １, ２０２３.

In the finals, the players of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex regretfully lost the game.

However, the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un read their discouraged feelings and took the benevolent measure of sending to them same prizes as the players of the Chollima Steel Complex received.

At the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee the respected Comrade General Secretary highly praised the successes achieved by the colliers of the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine under the Kaechon Area Coal Mining Complex. He said that the torch of the socialist patriotic movement for increased coal production in the new century was kindled there and it was a starting point for the overall drive for increased production of the national economy and a great strength of our Party.

At the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee he encouraged the Sangwon Cement Complex to become the standard-bearer saying that all the factories and enterprises would follow it. Then he hoped that the working class of Sangwon would vigorously advance in the van of the country upholding the torch of the movement for increased production and innovations.

Like this, our working class creates new things from nothing and makes the impossible into the possible while fulfilling their responsibility and duty in the struggle for development of economy of the country under the great loving care and deep trust shown by the great father.
